The department has been established with the vision to promote the development and appropriate use of the techniques for the promotion of health care. Our department has the honor to introduce BS Medical Laboratory Technology Program. Our BS MLT program is well known and appreciated for its excellent educational standards nationwide. In Department of Medical Lab Technology students are trained to examine all the data and results critically and to remain alert for potential technical errors. They are also encouraged to participate in the on-going basic research programs in the department and to publish their research findings in the reputable scientific journals. To begin transition to the “real world” they undergo rotations in basic skill laboratories and different sections of pathological laboratories at the affiliated hospitals. There, they learn handling and dealing of the specimen, Bio-safety management and develop understanding of the principles, basic skills and professionalism.
