Introduction

The Dept. Radiography & Imaging Technology is a vital academic division within an educational institution or healthcare facility dedicated to the education and training of individuals pursuing careers in medical ultrasound technology. This department is at the forefront of modern healthcare, equipping students with the knowledge and skills required to operate ultrasound equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures.

The core mission of the Medical Ultrasound Technology Program Department is to produce highly skilled and competent ultrasound technologists who play an essential role in the medical field.The department develops a comprehensive and up-to-date curriculum that covers essential topics such as ultrasound physics, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and various ultrasound imaging techniques. This curriculum provides students with a strong theoretical foundation. Practical experience is a cornerstone of ultrasound technology education. The department collaborates with healthcare institutions to offer students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in real clinical settings. This hands-on training is crucial for becoming proficient in performing ultrasound scans.
